Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Ultra Player apps, the website at ultraplayer.org, and the device dashboard. By installing, activating, or using Ultra Player you agree to them — please read them carefully, together with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of this agreement.

Who provides the service

Ultra Player ("we", "us") provides the service described here. The registered legal entity behind Ultra Player, together with its address, will be published in this section. Questions about these Terms go to support@ultraplayer.org.

Ultra Player is a player, not a content service

Ultra Player plays media that you bring to it — playlists in M3U, M3U8 and Xtream-compatible formats from sources you choose. We do not provide, sell, host, curate, bundle or broadcast any channels, films, streams or other content, and we do not supply, operate, control or endorse any playlist. A player license is a right to use the software on a device; it is not a content subscription and gives no right to any programming. Whether a stream you load works, keeps working, or may lawfully be watched is a matter between you and whoever supplies it.

Lawful use

The service is for lawful use only — for example: playing your own media from a personal media server; watching free-to-air channels whose broadcasters publish official streams; using a playlist a licensed provider gives you as part of a paid, lawful subscription; internal or hospitality feeds a business is licensed to show; or testing streams you develop or operate. You are solely responsible for the content you load and for holding whatever rights or permissions it requires in your country.

Prohibited use

You must not use Ultra Player to access or distribute content you have no right to; use the service for any unlawful purpose; resell, sublicense or pass the apps off as your own; interfere with or try to bypass activation, licensing or security mechanisms; or abuse the service in ways that harm it or its users. Responsibility for a violation lies with the user who commits it, and we may suspend or terminate service over it.

Your device and activation code

Your TV is identified by the activation code it shows on screen. Anyone who knows that code can manage the device's playlists from the dashboard, so treat it like a password and share it only with people you trust with that control. Tell us promptly if you believe it is being misused.

Accounts

Where you create an account on the website, you are responsible for the accuracy of the details you give and for keeping your credentials confidential, and you are responsible for activity carried out through the account.

License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Ultra Player apps on your devices for the duration of your activation. All intellectual-property rights in the apps, the website and the Ultra Player name and branding remain ours. You may not copy, modify, decompile or reverse engineer the apps except to the extent the law allows it despite this clause.

Copyright complaints

We host no content, and playlists are supplied by users — but we take infringement seriously. If you are a rights holder (or act for one) and believe the service is being used to infringe your rights, write to support@ultraplayer.org with: identification of the protected work, enough detail to locate the material or account concerned, your name and contact details and the capacity in which you act, and a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorised and your notice accurate. We review qualifying complaints and may remove playlists, suspend devices, or terminate repeat infringers.

Payments

Payments are taken by third-party payment providers on their own secure pages; your use of a provider is also subject to its terms. We never receive or store card numbers, CVV codes or bank details — the provider reports back only the outcome of the transaction so we can activate your purchase. Activation normally completes right away, but allow a short while after payment.

Prices

Prices are shown before you pay and may change over time; a change never affects a purchase you have already completed. Payment is due at the point of purchase.

Trial and refunds

A free trial lets you confirm the app works with your device and your playlists before paying — please use it. If you buy and change your mind, you may request a refund within 14 days of payment, without giving a reason, by writing to support@ultraplayer.org; we refund to the payment method you used. After 14 days, activation payments are non-refundable, and we cannot refund for things outside the software — a provider's stream going down, a device fault, or your internet connection. Nothing here limits consumer rights that the law does not allow to be waived; and because we supply no content, we cannot promise that any particular stream will work or keep working.

Compatibility and internet

Using the apps requires a compatible device and your own internet service; requirements can change as the apps are updated. Your equipment, connectivity and any data charges are your responsibility.

Disclaimers and liability

The website and apps are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted, error-free operation. To the fullest extent the law permits, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss (including lost profits, data or opportunity), nor for content you load, the conduct of any content provider, or consequences of using streams you are not licensed to access. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and if you are a consumer your statutory rights remain untouched.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate service to a device or account that breaches these Terms — in particular the Prohibited Use section — or where the law requires it; where reasonable and lawful we will say why and allow the breach to be put right. You may stop using the service at any time and may ask us to delete your device and its playlists as described in the Privacy Policy.

Governing law

The governing law and competent courts will be published in this section together with the legal entity. If you are a consumer, you always keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in.

Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms; the current version is always published on this page with its date. For significant changes we will tell you in the app or by email, and continued use after a change means the revised Terms apply.
